Been trying to get better at short form blogging, and I guess if this is gonna be my anti-social media run then I gotta start treating it just like the timeline, ya know? Just had one of my favorite Filipino breakfast dishes, Tapsilog at Sunkissed Cafe. Probably one of the best in the game.
Recently there was a massive typhoon here in the Philippines, leaving a lot of places in the country devastated. High winds, heavy rain, wild floods. Between earthquakes, hurricanes, and now this, these kind of natural disasters are pretty common in the PH and often feel like they come back to back to back. It's almost like a never-ending story. The storm left a few days ago, but I've been getting a lot of messages from friends and family asking if I'm good. To answer that: yes, blessed enough to be staying in a place that's a bit sturdier than some others that have been more impacted. So yes I am ok, but there are others that are not.
if you'd like to be supportive and donate to a trusted org providing relief, I'm checking in with one of my best friends and looking for some trusted organizations where you can donate to help bring some relief to those who experienced the worst of it all. I'll update this post once I have those lined up, so keep your eyes peeled.
